Our first step in designing your organization’s schedule consist of building and designing some area’s within TigerConnect Physician Scheduling. Below you will see Steps 1 through 5. These steps will help lay down the foundation of the schedule prior to entering call. We highly suggest doing these steps in the order listed below.

Navigating TigerConnect Physician Scheduling - Dashboard Glossary
The Dashboard is your main navigation tool on the TigerConnect Physician Scheduling web application. This guide explains the functions of the various menus.

Step One Holiday Setup
How to set up Primary and Secondary holidays. Note that this may have already been set up by your System Designer.

Step Two - Adding Jobs  /  Video Guide
How to set up shift-based assignments (Jobs). Note that this may have already been set up by your System Designer.

Helpful Hint:
Priority number allows you to place your jobs in the order you wish to see them on your schedule. We suggest using 1,3,5 or 1,5,10 to allow room for future jobs.

 

IF you are integrated with TigerConnect Roles - Mapping Roles
This guide will walk you through how to map Physician Scheduling Jobs to those Roles.

Step Three - Adding a New Provider  /  Video Guide
How to add Providers into your schedule to be scheduled for Jobs.

Be sure to adjust the provider Display Name!  Move the first initial to after the last name. Examples below:

  • AChen changed to ChenA
  • JSmith changed to SmithJ

Helpful Hint:
Priority number allows you to place your providers in the order you wish to see them on your schedule. We suggest adjusting the display name as above and using priority 1 for each provider - the software will order them alphabetically by display name.

 

Step Four - Setting Up Additional Schedulers
How to give schedulers access to edit schedules in your Group.

Once completed, please advise your project manager for your first check in. If you are comfortable, you can move on to the homework assignment #1.

Once you complete your Session #1, you can move forward to your first homework assignment.
